Fishing Forecast (the "App") provides an informational daily fishing-efficiency score and related environmental data (moon phase, solunar windows, tides, waves, weather) computed on your device from public third-party data sources. By using the App you accept these Terms.
Forecasts are estimates for recreational planning. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. The App is not a navigation tool and not a safety service. Always check official marine forecasts, local regulations, and conditions before fishing or boating. Fishing regulations (licenses, seasons, protected areas, catch limits) are your responsibility; map layers such as protected-area boundaries are informational and may be outdated or wrong. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for decisions made based on it.
The free tier includes a detailed forecast for today plus two days and the base map. Additional forecast days and optional map layers can be unlocked per use by watching an ad, subject to a frequency cap. We may change the free-tier scope in future versions.
Premium unlocks the full 30-day detail, hourly charts, custom map spots, Prime Bite alerts, and removes ads. Premium is offered as:
Prices may change with notice in Google Play. Restoration of purchases on a new device uses the same Google account via "Restore purchase" in Settings.
You agree not to misuse the App or the third-party services it relies on, including scraping their APIs through the App, reverse engineering for abuse, or using the App where prohibited by law.
The App displays data and map content from third parties, including MET Norway (CC BY 4.0), NOAA (public domain), © OpenStreetMap contributors, Esri/GEBCO/NOAA bathymetry, and Natural Earth. Their content is subject to their own terms and licenses.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at dev.ochandydude.dev/fishing-terms.html. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
